DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY – THE Extreme Value Beast ⇒ HP OMEN 880 GTX 1070 8GB Gaming Desktop TOWER

The OMEN 880 is from the era when HP built tanks, not toys. This is a full ATX tower built like a military machine.

1. Full Tower Industrial Design: The OMEN 880 is massive – 45cm tall, 20cm wide. It has a brushed aluminum front panel with the glowing OMEN diamond logo and two RGB light bars. The side panel is tempered glass, not acrylic, so it doesn’t scratch. This PC was originally KSh 280,000 in 2019 and it looks it.
2. Superior Cooling vs Modern Budget PCs: Unlike new budget gaming PCs that use one small fan, the 880 has a proper airflow design – front mesh intake, top exhaust, and rear exhaust. The version with 120mm AIO liquid cooling keeps the i7 8th Gen at 60-65C even in Mombasa heat. This means no thermal throttling and longer life.
3. Tool-Less & Upgrade Friendly: Open the glass side with one thumbscrew. Inside, everything is modular – RAM slots, GPU, HDD bays, M.2 slots. You can upgrade to 32GB RAM, add another 1TB SSD, or upgrade to RTX 3060/4060 in 2 years without changing the case or PSU.
4. Built to Last 10 Years: The OMEN 880 uses a thick steel chassis, not thin tin like cheap brands. The motherboard has solid capacitors and VRMs. These machines are known to run 8-10 years in gaming lounges in the US and Europe. You are buying durability.

DETAILED FEATURES – 7 CORE FEATURES NUMBERED

1. Intel Core i7-8700 8th Gen – The First True 6-Core i7
The 8th Gen was a revolution – Intel finally gave i7 6 cores and 12 threads. The i7-8700 is still a beast in 2026:
   • 6 Cores, 12 Threads: Perfect for modern games that use 6 cores like Warzone, Cyberpunk, and Hogwarts Legacy.
   • 4.7GHz Turbo: Single-core performance is still excellent – beats Ryzen 5 3600 and i3 10100.Hyper-Threading: You can stream on OBS, play games, and run Discord simultaneously.
   • Future-Proof: For office work, trading, coding, and video editing, this i7 will be relevant for 3-4 more years. It beats new i5 10th Gen in many tasks.
2. NVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB – The GPU That Refuses to Die
   The GTX 1070 8GB is a legend. In 2026, it still outperforms the brand-new RTX 3050 6GB and GTX 1660 Super 6GB. Here’s why:
   • 8GB GDDR5 VRAM: New budget cards have 6GB. The 8GB on 1070 allows you to play new games like Alan Wake 2 and Starfield at High settings without VRAM bottleneck.
   • 1920 CUDA Cores: More cores than GTX 1660 Ti (1536) and RTX 3050 (2560 but slower architecture).
   • No DLSS Needed for 1080p: At 1080p, the GTX 1070 gives you 90+ FPS in GTA V Ultra, 80+ FPS in Forza Horizon 5 High, 70+ FPS in Warzone High, and 60+ FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 Medium-High. Pure raw power.
   • VR Ready: Fully certified for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
This is the best GPU you can get under 130K in a full system.
3. 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 RAM – Sweet Spot for Gaming
16GB (2x8GB) dual channel gives you double the bandwidth of single 16GB. This eliminates stuttering in games. You can run GTA V RP, FiveM, Warzone, Chrome with 30 tabs, and Spotify. For content creators, 16GB is enough for 1080p video editing in Premiere Pro and Photoshop with large files.
4. Dual Storage: 256GB NVMe SSD + 1TB HDD – Best of Both Worlds
   • 256GB NVMe SSD: Windows boots in 10 seconds. Your main games load 5X faster. Your PC feels instant and responsive.
   • 1TB HDD: Store 15-20 large AAA games, your movies, music, and work files. Never delete games to make space.
   • Upgrade Path: Add a 1TB SSD at our shop and make it even faster.
5. Full Connectivity & Ports
Unlike new mini PCs, the OMEN 880 has everything – SD card reader (for photographers), 6x USB 3.0 ports, VR-ready HDMI + DisplayPort, and 7.1 audio. You can connect VR, 3 monitors, printer, and still have ports free.
6. Liquid Cooling Option – Premium Feature
Some of our OMEN 880 units come with original HP 120mm AIO liquid cooler for the CPU. This is a KSh 12,000 cooler that keeps temps low and noise low. It also looks amazing through the glass with RGB.
7. Genuine Windows 11 Pro & OMEN Command Center
You get activated Windows 11 Pro, HP OMEN Command Center for controlling RGB, fans, and overclocking, and all drivers installed.
